Travelers without a REAL ID or other acceptable form of identification will have the option to pay a $45 fee to establish their identity using TSA ConfirmID if they choose to fly. The identity verification will be valid for a 10-day travel period. More information may be found on the TSA website.

An update on United Airlines service from CWA to ORD
We know our community has been looking forward to United Airlines service at Central Wisconsin Airport. Unfortunately, United has announced that it is delaying the launch of service to CWA following the FAA's extension of capacity restrictions at Chicago O'Hare through October 2027. The restrictions at O'Hare are affecting United's ability to add new flights across its network, impacting several regional airports throughout the Midwest.
While this is certainly disappointing news, United has reaffirmed its commitment to serving CWA and continues to view our region as an important market. The delay is the result of operational limitations at Chicago O'Hare, not a change in United's belief in our community.
We remain in close contact with United and look forward to welcoming their service to CWA when the capacity restrictions at O’Hare are lifted. Service with United Airlines is expected to begin at CWA in November 2027.
